The Festival

Take part in Poole’s biggest running event! The day includes seven kids’ races, a 5k charity race, our flagship 10K road race, and a new Half Marathon, along with family entertainment and live music for a festival atmosphere! 

Poole Half Marathon

Poole’s new Half Marathon features a fast and flat course out from Poole Park, around Upton Country Park then back along Poole Quay. There will be the usual great Poole Festival of Running atmosphere, with lots of events going on over the weekend, including a running expo, bar, live music and great food in the Festival Village in Poole Park.

This is a brand new event for the town and the local authorities have asked us to limit numbers and time, so for this year there is a 400 person limit and a cut off time of 2 hours 30 minutes.

NOTE: Minimum age for entry is 18 years on race day. Due to the confines of the course, the event is not suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs or buggies etc and please – no dogs.
