The Festival
Take part in Poole’s biggest running event! The weekend includes seven kids’ races, a 5k charity race and our flagship 10K road race, along with family entertainment and live music for a festival atmosphere!
5K Event Information
The Poole Festival of Running 5k is this year moving to a new time slot of Saturday afternoon at 5pm, however, the course and fantastic atmosphere remain the same! All finishers get a t-shirt, medal, bar voucher and goody bag.
Charity
The Poole Hospital Charity have been chosen as the nominated charity for this year’s Poole Festival of Running and they would like to thank everyone for their support. We’d love runners to raise some money for the hospital, and anyone who raises at least £50 for Poole Hospital Charity will receive a complimentary t-shirt and over £100 will you will receive an official Poole Hospital Charity running vest. See below for more details…
Course Information
The race is the same route as the 2nd lap of the 10K course. Out through the park gates and immediately left down Kingland Road, turn right at the bottom and keep the lake on your left, under the subway, restricting bollards at the entry (could be slippery in the subway) along Catalina Drive to Baiter car park entrance, onto Baiter Path and around to Whitecliff. Turn left before Turks Lane and onto Banks Road, left into Whitecliff Road and back into the park through Horseshoe Tunnel. Through the park gates, left at mini roundabout then along the park road to the finish near the fountain. There will be a clock showing finish times.
