The Festival

Take part in Poole’s biggest running event! The day includes seven kids’ races, a 5k charity race and our flagship 10K road race, along with family entertainment and live music for a festival atmosphere! 

10K Event Information 

Poole’s premier competitive running event with runners of all abilities from across the Country competing with the Nations best athletes.

Now in its 35th year, the Poole Festival of Running is probably Poole’s oldest 10k race. It will feature top international runners, Local Club Runners and many charity runners. All standards are welcome.

Course Information 

Mostly flat apart from once over Seldown Bridge and a small incline at Whitecliff on each of the two laps. As you approach the finish area to start the second lap, you will be directed to the right passing the finish area to your left.

The 5Km point is approx. 60 metres beyond the finish line. All other Km markers will be in place, accurate to +/- 5 metres – SEAA Course measurement number 11/017. All junctions will be marshalled. You must comply with directions given by police or race officials, but your safety is your own responsibility.
